Obtaining a library card

If you want to obtain a library card, fill out the " Application for library card ".

Please note

Be sure to return the library card when you leave the institute.

Borrowing & Returning

Rules of Borrowing

*You cannot check out the materials of the 1st floor. (Current periodicals, reference books)

Checking out

1. You can check out a book yourself at a computer terminal located on the 1st floor by registering your Library card .
2. To check out a book that not have Book ID label or when library automation system is not operating, fill out a book lending form.
3. If you want to renew a loan, tell us.(ext. 7191)

Returning

@Put the book in the return box at the counter.

Copying

Duplication of library materials for personal research is permitted so long as copyright protection is observed.

Copy machines are on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Use the copy machine card and fill out the application form for photocopying.

Inter-library Lending Co-operation

The Photocopying office operates to supply photocopies between the Okazaki Library and Information center and other libraries.

Before making your request by filling in an interlibrary loan form, make sure whether the materials are available or not.
Check OPAC (Library Collections) and NACSIS Webcat (University libraries collections in Japan).
